The Commonwealth Youth Council in collaboration with Pro-Democracy Youths Nigeria are currently recruiting young persons who will serve as Youth Peace Marshals for the 2015 Elections and beyond. Vacancies exist for three (3) Zonal officers (Enugu North, Enugu East and Enugu West) and 17 Local Government Officers throughout Enugu state, Nigeria.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Shall be an advocate of peaceful participation of young persons in politics and governance
Shall organize programs and projects in furtherance of one(1) above
Shall serve as the coordinating personnel his or her zone or local government.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Secondary School Certificate
Records of previous student/youth leadership responsibilities
Must be social media compliant
Must be between the ages of 18 - 35 years
Must be able to speak and write English and Igbo fluently
Must be willing to work selflessly on a volunteer basis
